A Wagnerian war-march theme. A perfectly flavorless MOTR corporate-video rock anthem. Several Sunset-Strip-inspired musical bumpers. And two soaring John Williams-aping symphonic tear-jerkers. These pieces were composed for Starfinder, a docu-comedy/fake reality show.

Ben Gregg, an office worker at a metals trade magazine in Niles, IL, will stop at nothing to become a Hollywood agent. He creates a reality show, Starfinder, where he claims to be able to turn unknown actors into stars, and chooses his co-worker Andy Barlow, who reluctantly agrees to be the first contestant. This docu-comedy follows Ben Gregg’s amateur production, which always teeters on the edge of implosion, as he recklessly risks his friendship with Andy Barlow in pursuit of his dream.
